Sam the Sheep with Leaves is a hand drawn sheep print and limited edition fine art print from the Dots by Donna collection. This fresh botanical wall art is created by internationally award winning Australian stippling artist Donna Taylor, built entirely freehand from individual dots, nothing traced, nothing rushed, with each original drawing taking over 40 hours to complete, one tiny dot at a time.
Sam peeks out from a soft bed of watercolour grasses and bunny tails in gentle greens and warm earthy tones. The mix of fine dotwork detail against the airy botanical background gives him a calm, grounded feel. Every bit of his woolly coat is layered from thousands of tiny hand placed dots. Lovely on his own, or paired with a full face print to build your own little flock.
Sam the Sheep with Leaves is a limited edition print, capped at only 200 prints per size, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Once sold out, it will never be reprinted.

As of August 2022 Dots by Donna no longer offers framing. All prints use standard paper sizing, making it easy to find frames to suit at any framing store or homewares retailer.
