Sofia the Sheep is a hand drawn sheep print and limited edition fine art print from the Dots by Donna collection. This striking black and white wall art is created by internationally award winning Australian stippling artist Donna Taylor, built entirely freehand from individual dots, nothing traced, nothing rushed, with each original drawing taking over 40 hours to complete, one tiny dot at a time.
Sofia peeks in gently from the edge, her soft woolly coat rendered in extraordinary detail through the patient layering of thousands of tiny dots. Every curl and shadow is placed by hand, giving her a depth and warmth that has to be seen up close to be believed. Designed to sit beautifully on her own, or paired with a full face print to create your own gallery wall.
Sofia the Sheep is a limited edition print, capped at only 200 prints per size, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Once sold out, it will never be reprinted.

Donna Taylor is internationally recognised for her mastery of the technique known as stippling or pointillism, achieving breathtaking detail and precision using just a fine liner pen. Nothing is traced. Everything is intentional. Donna's pieces take on discipline, focus and a life of their own. Some designs feature additional watercolour elements for a pop of colour.
All Dots by Donna fine art prints are produced using the latest Giclee printing methods and archival inks on 310gsm Canson Arches 88 Rag archival paper. Acid free, fade resistant and guaranteed to last 120 years plus. All prints will become a family heirloom.
As of August 2022 Dots by Donna no longer offers framing. All prints use standard paper sizing, making it easy to find frames to suit at any framing store or homewares retailer.
